It was sooo hot today. It was about 96 degrees and just pretty much miserable during the day. I didn't have class today and that was awesome so I got to sleep in a little but our contact person for our apartment swung by today to make note of damages and what not so we were up pretty early to let him into our place.

From there I went with Maxann to go get her textbooks in the sweltering hot sun. The walk felt like being on auto pilot and being in a zombie state all at the same time. It was terrible outside today. Plus, Maxann didn't eat, so that wasn't too smart and so on the way back she was dead to the world and I forced her to eat a sandwich.

So I came back to the room and just lounged for awhile, took a nap, and then headed over to Amy and Molly's apartment with Maxann and Ashley (plus her friend Rachel, who is visiting). There we made this fabulous dinner. Well, I shouldn't take too much credit, I was responsible for mustering up the salad, but it was rather tasty. Molly and Amy did

you know what they say about too many cooks in the kitchen...
the cooking this time and we said we'd host next. They made pasta and pesto chicken. yum. It was so cute, we set the table all nice and everything and just bonded over some great food and wine.

After we cleaned up, we decided to hang out for awhile but ended up taking a walk to get gelato (naturally) and sit, once again, at the greatest spot on the bridge.

I love watching people when I'm hanging out there. There are so many people to entertain you. There were people driving their vespas like crazy people. I just don't understand how they do it. Somehow they manage to like have a toddler between their legs, standing up to hold the handles all while holding shopping bags and talking on their cell phones. How does that even work? Oh these Italians
