Cerveteri Necropolis
We planned to go to Rome today and got up early and went to the buss but it left 20 min early so we missed it and the next one was 2 hours away not giving us enough time in Rome so we will go to Rome tomorrow instead.
We went to lake Bolsena and had a look around the forests near the lake and then went on to lake Bracciano where we had lunch by the lake and there was swans in the lake. We then drove on to the seaside town of Cerveteri. In the 6 century BC this was one of the most populated and culturally rich towns in the Mediterranean. The Necropolis, a city of the dead, is a network of streets lined with tumulus tombs arranged like houses with rooms, door and corridors.
