Roma: Part 2

After managing to get to the Athens airport and from the Rome airport to my hostel all by my lonesome, i managed to catch up with my cousin Claire and her boyfriend Sam. Not before falling headfirst into the pavement after tripping up a kerb, very embarrassing but i have some scars to show for it so its ok. That day we wandered around Rome, i showed Sam and Claire the Roman Forum and the Coleseum and because i had allready seen it i was able to impart some basic knowledge. We also went to see some catacombs where they buried christians and popes in pagan times. After that it was off to the pub to watch Australia play Japan, which was an awesome game, go aussies!! The next day we did a guided tour of the inside of the coleseum and Palantine Hill interspersed with a hearty Italian lunch and then we had to say goodbye to claire and sam and continue on our journey.
