Ciao a tutti! Sorry it's been such a long time between posts. My last week in Rome went very quickly, and here is Salerno it's not nearly as easy to get on the net. Still trying to work out how I'll do this since there's sooo much to say, but strap yourselves in and let's just see what happens, hmm? Part 1 - ROME Well Marianne and Sybille left on my last full weekend in Rome, which was a bit... Read Full Entry

hello gatto (gatti? what's the difference again?)
Make sure you punch that other Aussie for not knowing what Pompei is all about. Surely it's either some ridiculously large and fatal volcano eruption that buried heaps of people under choking clouds of ash and boiling hot lava, or it's the nickname of this great Australia soldier (Pompey Elliot) who served in WWI. Duh. I wonder if he rained down flows of boiling hot lava. Now there's a trick to show off to your mates at the pub.

gday gday, and another gday. first off you should've told that dodgey old guy where to shove his mwa mwa. you know he hangs around there all day everyday waiting for tourist so he can do his "tour" *cough*scam*cough* Mr smiles-a-crispy looks pretty intense, kind of a, im really happy! but im being burned alive by pyroclastic flow! which is kind of ruining my happy feeling! pompei in general would be pretty sombre and possibly unsettling, but definitely worth a look. all those places you're going I never actually realised how big they are, all the photos seem very pretty and such. some cool hillside towns to, lets build our town right HERE, but sir its so steep! ah yes guido, but many years from now tourist shall take photographs and comment on the beauty, hell we might even get on a postcard! (trust me, thats how they talked in ye olde italy) anyways all the stuff your seeing sounds pretty nifty, cats, really old porno, crazy lady who has a burning hatred of puppets. you know, all the important stuff. and I shall end it here, as I have many important and challenging tasks to attend to.....................................................................*cough* peace up ~Will
