Sunday June 10 Slea Head and sites of Ryans Daughter filming

Today I drove out west as far as you can go in Ireland without a boat. I explored a Stone Age fort built in 500BC and some more of the locations where Ryan’s Daughter was filmed. The weather was rainy at first but in the afternoon cleared off a bit but never got quite sunny. It was a very good day and I kind of reached my saturation point on scenic beauty for a bit. So many beautiful vistas.

Tomorrow I will head back to Ballinasloe for a few days.

When I got to Dingle they were having a race and lots of the racers were staying at the hostel and stored their bikes in the living room.
