Entry for today, Dec 15th 20012, Dublin Ireland
Oh my gosh! Only day 2 in Ireland and we just had one of thee most Epic of days that will bw very hard to top. I dont' t even know where to begin!! I suppose the begining of the day is a good starting point, I'll try to be quicker than my last entry
It first started by running into some Irish Ravers the second we walked out of our room. They were pretty cool and invited us to there room to Party. This was at 10am and said they were looking to be loud and get kicked out, so we went. There were about 15 Irish locals drinking and smoking in the room getting ready for a Rave that was going to happen at like 2am and invited us. We said thanks and ended up leving to venture out into town.
We then walked and found an ATM to get money out and dqcided to go to the Guiness Brewery! That trip was one of thee greatest times ever! This place was Huuuuge! It ws about 5 or 6 stories high with nothing but original things that
made the very first Guinuss S well as the machinery that they use today. I got to taste the Barley and water that they use and got a huge tour of the place. At the end we got a free Pint of Guiness and drank it at the Gravity Bar at the very top of the whole place, over looking all of Dublin. We then ran into to really
y cool peope Maggie and Ben who who were able to get us free Guiness for the rest of the night be ause it was Maggies Birhday! I couldn't help mysslf, so when I saw people leave there Guiness and left, i would take theres just tobsaybthat I did it at the Guiness Factory! I then stold one of there pint glasses as a Souvaneer, they were really nice Guiness glasses.
The Guiness I had there was the best Guiness I ever had! There is something way better tasting about drinking a beer that ia brewed the same day at the same place of wherw you are drinking it!
ething about it that is waaaay better then in the States. We then decied to go on a Pub
crawl which was pretty Awespme and everyone was wearing ugly sweaters, Santa Hats andthe girls were zdressed as Mrs Claus, it was pretty Awesome!!! THE town looked Beautiful at night wih all the lights and cool streets. There was a guy who madee a "hot air ballon" type thing and had a flame under it as itbflew thrrough the sky. The police then came to put it out.
NOW THE CRAZY PART HAPPENED!!!! So we arrive back at our Hosel a little after 2 am to find out that the Rave that the people were talking aboutbealier was at our Host! Some big name DJ that I can't remember booked all the empty hoostel rooms for that day to throw a huge Rave in our huge Lobby from 2 am toabout 9am!!! It was a VIP Invite only for the Locals, but zince we were already booked for the weekend we got to be here for free! There must of been over 200 people there and itbwas a lot of fun, Ibmet a lot of really cool Irish Locals. I amsolutely love talking to them, there accents are Awesome and there are a fun and friendly group of people. Somhow
he Hostel found a loop hole in fhe law and were able to keep the bar open to serve alcohol all the way till 9am whenit ended! It was intense! The DJ's people took a video of just me andand put itbup on fhe large projector that went with the music! We had no choice but to party all the way from 2am to 7 am because the music and people were so loud that there was no way we could possibly go to sleep through it. Finally at 7am we de ided we needed to go to sleep, so we went to the very top floor of the building and fell asleep in the only quite hallway in the entire Hostel until the Party ended at 9am.
It ended up being one hell of a night/morning, and damn, Irish people know how to Party! Super intense for only my 2nd day out of 42 in Europe!

Makes you wish that U were like!50 yrs. younger.Sure beats the hell out of Bowling.
