Two happy workersTwo happy workersTwo happy workers

Both pretty relieved to have work and some Euro coming in...Dave's sick of it after two days, needs a holiday!
Well, we've finally found some time to get this blog done. Feeling the pressure from the Cooper clan to get another entry on here so here it is...

We have settled. We are out of Belinda and John's hair - gees we were lucky to have them over here as a base. Would have been pretty crappy without them and Lindy Foat as well. Cheers to them! We're living in Smithfield, only 5 minute tram trip into the city centre. We were sooooooooo lucky to get this place, but we did persist with viewing places to get it...glad it paid off.

We both have jobs now - Zoe is working as a legal secretary in LK Shields, a corporate Solicitors in the city. Getting €17 an hour (above average wage - yay!) so I actually take home more doing this than I did when I was teaching - doesn't seem right, hey. People are really good to work with and the company is having it's 20th birthday celebrations in a few weeks and they're hiring out the top of the Guinness Storehouse (at a cost of €6000 for the night). We get all food, any drinks etc for free

We couldn't wait to put these pics on to show you how we're 'backpacking' in Ireland - he he.
- about 150 staff. Cannot wait - unfortunately for Dave, it's no partners.

Dave is working as a builder in a sweet spot - 10 minutes to get to work, can actually see the job site from our place. (Oh, we'll put a photo up of the view from our apartment next time - it's an awesome view, just forgot to take a photo of it). Working inside out of the cold, fixing out units - the other day he was working in a €2 million unit, crazy as. Had a 150cm plasma...some people have too much money.

We've been doing bits and going out a bit more in Dublin now. We have a bar at the bottom of our flat and a good pub a 2 minute walk away that have great Sunday sessions with trad music etc, so we'll be there later on I dare say. Also woke up this morning to see the entire market square at the bottom of our flat full of horses. Lots of knackers (bogans) whipping their horses - we have no idea what they were doing. Was weird...apparently happens every Sunday. People, horses and shit everywhere - right out front

Dave flat out as usual...
of the supermarket! Yes!

That's enough for the meantime. Sorry this one is isn't as exciting as the other blogs, but that happens when you're looking for places and jobs. Oh, we'd like to say a big thank you to our Number 1 fan - Di Foat. Your dedication is great - keep 'em coming. She's putting you others to shame! Keep the messages and updates coming - we love 'em.

Lots of love,
Zoe & Dave

There you go Deb, there's a photo of Belinda on there for ya. Couldn't get one on the side. Note: Belinda was drinking lemonade at the pub much to her disgust. Johnny made up for her.

It's true what they say, the longer the Irish drink the faster they speak. Good times.
