And away we go. Picked up from our hotel by the Motorhome people after a surprisingly good breakfast, and we thought our hotel was basic….. Signed our life (and second daughter) away to get the Motorhome. Then we get the rundown on how everything works. Including how to empty the toilet. Eeeww. Maybe only for emergencies we all thought. Finally out of the Motorhome place. Almost stalled it but recovered and also stayed on the right (wrong side for us) side. To the supermarket where we spent the kids inheritance on food etc. And yes, everything in Iceland is expensive. Free day today, but my Canadians were eager to explore a little more so we offered them two options, one was the Golden Circle Tour, a tour each tourist should do when coming to Iceland for the first time. The other was Landmannalaugar with its colourful mountains and hot stream for bathing. Ten wanted to do the GL tour, five chose the tour in a superjeep. The tour was great, Kristjan did that tour (he is the KG in the name of our company, KGB TOURS). The weather was fine, the pool for bathing greater and the mountains showed all their beatiful colours. The "Ugly Pool" was not ugly at all! The Gorge was like heaven, always is. Gullfoss, referred to as Golden Falls is perhaps the most famous waterfall in Iceland because of its size, volume and accessibility.  The Hvita River, coming off the Langjökull Glacier, falls 32 meters into a deep canyon that is hidden by a wall of mist.  The power of the falls is incredible, yet it is not the most powerful waterfall in Iceland, or even all of Europe – that would be Dettifoss.  The volume of water that spills over Gullfoss is 80-140 cubic meters/second. The sun shown on the day of our tour and dimmed right about the time we were arriving at Gullfoss, nonetheless, we caught two incredibly beautiful rainbows, providing an unparalleled spectacle of color and motion.
