After a 9 hour flight on some insanely thin chairs (Wow Airlines) we made it to Iceland. Smooth flight but not much sleep. We did the inverse of what most itineraries I read recommend. We started at Blue Lagoon - an amazing geothermal hot spring / public pool with a warm mix of ocean water, glacial water, algae and silica. Spent the first day relaxing. In fact, the first day never really ended (by my typical definition of a day). As of 11:08 PM the sun is shining bright and you can barely make out the full moon hovering over the horizon. Kewl, this throws a rock into what we think of day and night. Hey Bo did you change your bathing attire? Are they still wearing those 'grape cluster ' guy bathing suis? I just cant see you wearing that style or maybe its more me not wanting to see you in grape clusters. Their very Europeanne.
