We left Budapest and drove through the Matra Hills (unfortunately while it was raining) to the town of Eger which we will explore tomorrow.
The campsite is on the edge of Eger close to the Szepasszony Valley famous for producing Bulls Blood wines among others. We had a stroll down there and were entertained by some Hungarian violinists at one of the cellars while we tried the local tipple.
