Cruise Day 8, Mykonos, Greece

Today we are in Mykonos, it is quite cool this morning and we took our time getting up and having breakfast before getting off the ship. We had to catch a bus to get to the town and as we got off the bus it started to rain, it wasn't really cold just not hot and sunny. We walked around the beach front then up into where the shops were, but the cobblestones were quite slippery and we kept getting wet from the rain coming off the verandas. We found a cafe and had a coffee wand some French fries and then the sun started to come out. All the houses here are painted white to keep them cool in the summer. They are built on huge boulders in the hillside. We looked for the pelican but couldn't see him today. I did see a cat and I gave it a pat but it tried to bite my finger! We wandered back to the ship for the rest of the afternoon. ....swimming and eating ice cream!
