Hi there, we are furiously trying to catch up on these blogs but there really is not enough hours in the day.

Greece was absolutely fabulous - we both fell in love with it - the people, the beauty, the food. Really I think I was Greek in a past lifetime. It felt like home. The people are boisterous, loud, and talk fast and with their hands. It was great. The greek salad was to die for. We only spent a few weeks there and wanted to return but the euro was killing us and we had to make some very important financial decisions.

We kept to the Dondanese Islands - Rhodes, Kos and Leros.

Rhodes is fabulous. The town is a walled city with old cobblestone streets and houses with tiny tiny doors. So cute. We rented a car for a few days and drove around the whole island. It was spectacular. A picture is worth a thousand words. There was definitely the WOW factor in there for me. Love it!!!

Kos is north of Rhodes and has a thriving tourist business. It was a little too touristy for us but it did have a castle.

Leros is a tiny island that tourism hasn't really found yet. We rented a bike (again) for this island.

We tried to add more photos but the computer and screaming kids sitting next to us were working against the product.
