Leaving Aegina for the Corinth Canal

We left Aegina this morning, and are at this moment sitting at the west entrance of the canal waiting for permission to go through.

The Canal was amazing!!!! Beautiful, calm, aqua blue water and steep stone walls that stretch for 3 miles. It is really hard to put into words and I don’t think pictures can even do it justice. A beautiful sight!!!!

We are through the Canal safely, and side tied to a dock in the Corinth port. We are in a little fishing harbor, quite protected from the winds.
