Samos...

Just a v. quick update!! Net cafe in Vahti (Samos Town), Samos. Spent two nights in Karlovasi (acttually got of ship one Port early!! but was good!)... Had a bit of a breakdown of enthusiasim and a 'what-are-we-actually doing anyway moment, and also a delightful walk up a hill, met two lovely old ladies bringing their 6 goats down the hill for the evening! and then a very erie dessent ourselves... being repeatedly followed by a fly, two butterfly/moth/bat/bird like creatures, all two the sound of wolf-like howls in the mountains!! Hour long bus trip here today... followed by several very sweaty, exhausting hours of looking for a place to stay (september seems to still be v busy in Samos!)... eventually did find somewhere and Ez bought his haggeling skills into full play... those particual indian genes getting very honed at present!!

Will do a proper update before we leave here for Turkey (the tiny gap we have to cross seems like its gonna cost us 30ish Euro each!! shock horror!! Bring on the mexicans with their cars-come amphibious machines (conversation we had!!)
