We left about 9:30 today. Ares (our skipper) had warned us it was going to be a rough one. Not even ten minutes into the journey and 7 out of the 11 of us were feeling queesy. It turned out that this trip was to be the roughest of the lot! Most of the people on board got very seasick (lucky for Matt and I we were fine!) We arrived in Syros at about 2pm and most of us were starving so we headed out for some lunch. After that we went by bus to Syros town. Mark, Katrina, Melissa, Adrienne and I climbed up loads of stairs to an awesome view of the ocean and part of the island. At night we had alfresco nibbles but not too many drinks on the boat because of the impending sail tomorrow. Everyone was openly hoping it wouldn´t be as rough as today!
