We never planned on visiting Crete this time, but our week there was great. We began with Sitia, in the northeast. This was a quiet little seaside village with few tourists and a very nice sandy beach. Nearby, at Vai Beach, was a natural palm forest which is unique to the Greek Islands. As always...lovely
I really liked the videos of the market...and sooooooo wanted some of those olives! The ferry was a noisy one :) The photos of Mykonos were just lovely and I thrilled to see the dolphin mosaic wall in the Queens rooms, as I included dolphin fabric in my "Greek" block to the May Block Queen :) Looking forward to your being stateside again so we can catch up on the phone!
