As we were not far away we decided to go back down the hairpins and drive to the campsite at Igel on the Mosel where we were due to meet the owners of the14 other Murvi vans the following day.

On the way we made two interesting stops. Firstly to the viewpoint Cloef for a spectacular view overlooking the Saarschleife where the river makes an almost unbelievable hairpin, flowing 10k to reach a point 2k from where it started. Secondly a preserved mosaic in a roman villa in the village of Nennig on the Mosel.

From Nennig we drove along the Luxembourg side of the Mosel to reach Igel, again in Germany. When we got there we were surprised to find that six other Murvis had also arrived a day early.
