Dusseldorf
How awesome is this building!!!!!! Ja das goed, ja. Germany is great. Love it. Love the people (suprisingly), the food, the culture, making fun of their awful language, the parties - the germans really know how to party and well pretty much everything about it. I have met some wonderful people from Germany and one of those people is my great friend Christian Hirschen. We met at UCD where he joined Delta Sigma Phi, we had an absolute fantastic time that year. We then met up in Amsterdam for a couple of days and after a botched attempt to fly to Poland I ended up going to Mallorca and then to Germany to see Christian. Getting off that train and seeing Christian standing there in his Canadian Tuxedo made the whole trip worth it. "So Lloyd, wat za fuck man" haha, he is so funny. I spent the night on his floor in his tiny studio apt, headed off the next morning to his parents house in Neuss just outside Dusseldorf. He has such nice parents, they were always so keen to help me and always a good laugh. Walked around the town, grabbed some beers at this place with a lovely beer garden. Went to

Beers for the road. essential Dusseldorf and sat on the Rhine drinking beers in the sun and watching the ships pass by. I love major rivers, I just love thinking about to there significance over the course of history.
Went to Cologne the night as well, saw the famous Dom and partied the night away in the ou stadt. I love it in Germany how you stand in the streets and keep ordering beers and the ladies just make dash marks on your coaster to denote how many beers you have had. Fricken awesome.
All in all it was awesome seeing my old friend again and also great to be in Germanland again.
