NOW IN COLOGNE

Hi all

We arrived in Cologne about half an hour ago after coming from Berlin. Had a great couple of days in Berlin with Ray my brother in law and nephew, Glenn. It ws some soccer final there so it was party time - for us as well!! We tried to jump the underground, but the line we needed took fans to the game and they were packed like sardines on the train, every time the doors opened you could hear the chanting, fun times!! Had lunch near the Brandenburg Gate with a live band playing, was a great time!! Then walked for ages seeing the Reichstag building, Kaiser wilhelm church which was bombed during the war and remains as a monument, also saw the remains of the Wall - I love Berlin its such a fascinating city!!!

We spend a night here then travel towards the Rhine, hoping to do a cruise (day only) then down thru the Black Forest. Were having an awesome time, seeing heaps, walking stacks, lots of laughs along the way!!
