Templehof airport was started in the mid 30's and though functional was never finished. It was taken over by the americans after the war, expanded with runways and served as the airport for the american sector. It is a huge building that is built with stadium access style access to allow people to get on the roof for airshows. As many of the buildings of the era, it also has bunkers underneath. The towers of the building may seem purpose built for anti aircraft guns, but they cannot support the weight and were simply tasked with delivering people to the roof terrace of the airport.
