Walking around Berlin

Today we did a lot of walking around what was East Berlin and found some great souvenirs. It is interesting to see Berlin from Iris' point of view. She is an East Berlin native who grew up with the wall and doesn't necessarily find the west to be better. I don't know much German but I did find it nice to actually recognise words and be able to say thank you etc with confidence. We're a long way from that point with Czech.
