This church was left as it was after being bombed by an air raid on the 22nd and 23rd of November, 1943.

'International Buddy Bears'

Berlin's national animal is the bear and they often have statues of bears all around the city, all painted differently. One year (I think 2004) they decided they should make it an international harmony thing, getting every country to paint their own. So this was a display of some of them.

This was one of the many streets that was split up because of the Berlin wall going up. It became famous through a movie of the same title about some boys who lived on the east side of the street. And it was right near Monica's apartment!

I thought this was really cool. In the middle of the dome there's a pillar that made of mirrors. It starts quite thin at the bottom then gets thicker as it reaches the top. And you can see 4 of you! :P

I took this from inside the dome of the Reichstag, through the glass that divided the dome and the actual parliament. I was quite pleased with how it turned out, all things considered! :P

It was pretty impressive, and very well organised - about 4 levels, with trains arriving and departing on each!

Ick bin ein Berliner
It's not bad German, it's Berliner German :-D "Ick" is the berliner pronounciation of "Ich" and is famous for having being said by John F. Kenedy in Berlin after the wall came down.
