A miserable rainy day. We got our chicken fix and left the festival quick for dry indoors. Photo taken from the Rotisserie chicken stand.

Latte? You've got to be kidding!
Starbucks in Munich? Where's that macho dude that I once knew in Tucson! Next you'll be telling me that your 'Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz' red slippers were too tight and gave you blisters. When der Frau and I went to Oktoberfest, I wore my Leiderhosen and drank nothing but good German bier the whole week that we were in Bavaria. "Das ist Gutt!" Better get out of Kalifornia before it's too late! And take down that shrine to Al Gore too. BTW, which wurst was the worst wurst? Shame on you. Yer Kubelwagen pal, Bubba

Schatzi i mag Di (on the heart)
That's Bavarian dialect, not high German. Means: Darling I love You
