It was a joy for the senses and a really fun time. We traveled from Frankfurt to Wurzburg, to Berlin, to Munich, to Vienna, and to several small towns surrounding Munich. This was a market that Gabi took us to. It was out in the country and was very rustic and authentic. The setting was charming and the snow was perfect.

This Christmas market was a winter wonderland.

This market in Türkenfeld, had a Grimm’s Fairy Tale theme. It was like walking through a magical fairy tale land.

This market was my favorite!!!! The setting was on the grounds of the Friedrich Hundertwasser Art Gallery and the Kuchlbauer Brewery. Friedrich Hundertwasser designed all the imaginative and unique buildings. We spent an entire day here. We strolled the Christmas market, ate and drank all the traditional Christmas treats, toured his art gallery, toured the Brewery, and then ate and drank some more while enjoying the lights at night. It was a magical day. Thank you Gabi and Dilli for giving us this very memorable and unique experience.

Dear Pam, I missed your annual Merry Christmas greetings...
so it is good to see this one about your visit to Christmas markets, which Linda and I loved to sample when we lived in Germany and Belgium. However, Ron is missing so this probably explains the gap over the last coupld of years. You didn't post any details so I hope that you are doing well as we approach the new year. I wish you a blessed new year...and continue to travel with friends. Bob
