New European adventure with Sophie Knott

After 2 weeks at our beach home in Perdido Key Florida, Sophie and I are on our way on a grand adventure. Many months in the planning, we are on our way tonight.

Flying from Nashville to Munich, Germany where we will pick up a European delivery of a car, spend 8 nights in Munich visiting neighbors from when I lived there 17 years ago. We will enjoy the Bavarian culture and beautiful countryside, with a side trip to Regensburg to visit Peter Emmert who I worked with while in Germany.

We will then drive to Prague, Czech Republic for 3 days, drive to Nuremberg, Germany for 2 days to see Franconia (lower Bavaria) and visit other coworkers from my last years at Siemens. Finally, on June 6 we will return to Munich and drop off the car for shipment to me in the US.

The second leg of the journey will then begin with a flight to Athens, Greece where we will join a mediterranean cruise from Athens to Barcelona, Spain. We will arrive again back in the US on June 28.
