The N10
, N154, A28, D1001, D901 and several linking roads took us over the River Seine at Rouen to Boulogne where after a breath of fresh air on the beach we stayed at a favourite campsite, l’Escale, in the nearby village of Wacquinghen.
Over the four days of our journey north through the length of France we crossed most of its major rivers and as planned travelled along mainly fairly fast roads without paying any tolls.
