November. De Alpen bereiden zich voor op de strenge winter. Boeren en hun vee zijn al lang afgedaald naar de lagere regionen. Wilde dieren hebben het rijk voor zich. Weg zijn eindelijk die toeristen... De late herfst is een genot om te gaan wandelen in de (Zwitserse: het Vercors - plateau. Zet je op de slede en volg ons over golvende sneeuw.

November. The European Alps prepare themselves for the harsh winter to come. Farmers and their cattle already descended into the lower valleys. Wildlife roams below the edges. Tourists are long gone. Late autumn is a delight to go hike in the (Swiss) Alps. Off to Kandersteg...

December. On the last week of the diverse year 2011 we spent on the Western Alps’ finest balcony: the undulating Vercors. Follow us on snow shoes and pulling a pulk over undulating snow.
