July 12 - Lyon France. We left Nice early this morning and headed to a little town between Nice and Caan called St. Paul de Provence. It is a 14th Century town that has streets that are too narrow for cars. It wasn't very busy this morning and it was a nice break from the hustle and bustle of Rome, Venice and Florence. Early this afternoon we got to Avignon. It happens to be the time of year when they have their Arts Festival. Plenty of Musicians, buskers, art and theatre types running about. We wish we had more time to spend there. Really enjoyed the atmosphere. We got to Lyon early this evening. We got a little rain tonight which is great because the mercury hit 100F again today! Tomorrow we head for Paris. We are excited because Weds. is Bastille day - the largest party of the year in Paris. Should be interesting!
Our holiday is quickly slipping by. Still can't get enough band width to posts pictures. We'll do it when we get home.
