My body clock doesn't know what is happening, but I felt alright getting up at six, which is really five because of daylight savings being introduced. Kez and Rod did really well to get up considering they didn't get home from work until the early hours of this morning. We all got ready quickly, and Kez was impressed at how quick we could get ready as we waited patiently to leave, but it was just habit from our recent travels. Soon enough we were in the car heading for Dover to catch the ferry over to Calais, France. Unfortunately there was thick fog, and we didn't get to see the famous white cliffs of Dover in there glory. While we were waiting for the ferry, Rod and I both jumped in these massage chairs. We woke up when Paris started coming back to life and we went into the station to catch the first train to Calais. We’d just got settled when a guard came along and told us that the train was going to be split half way through the journey and we were in the half that was not going to Calais. We found the correct carriage and were just getting settled again, when I heard this familiar Welsh accent. Two seats back was Allan, half way through chatting up a group of French girls. Coincidence or what! Allan was on his own, as Richard had had his passport and Inter-rail ticket stolen. He was still in Paris trying to sort it out.
