After our visit to Avignon we are on our way to Carsaconne.

It is only a small town with its main attraction being the castle that sits up on the hill. We have a great view from our hotel balcony. We didn't get an official tour of the place so after dinner we walked up to the castle. Seriously, it's just like a castle from a Hollywood movie. Or Shrek even!

The walk is about 5-10 minutes. Todd and I watch the sunset from outside the castle walls. We took the back way in climbing up a hill and through the back door. From the outside it looks deserted. When we get inside we find out it's filled with restaurants, cafes, and hotels! It is HUGE inside! There are wells, churches, ivy growing on buildings, as well as heaps of cats that roam around.

We bump into others from the trip and take some photos. It's getting cold so we head back to the hotel for some rest. Tomorrow is Spain and I'm so excited!
