Got out of bed around 9.30am, very,very tired got around 2 hours sleep.......had to pack bags for our flight tonight out of Paris. We went & had brekkie & then caught the Metro underground train to the Eiffel Tower. Arrived at the Tower & the line up was massive, may be a 2 hour wait or more. Becc & I were in the line & a tour guide, named Sammy came up & said out loud that he had 5 more tickets to give out to an organised tour who did not have to wait to get up to the second floor. Well I heard him & said yes we will take two tickets, so we did not have to wait, got up to the second floor of the Eiffel Tower within ten minutes......just our lucky day. The view from the second storey was intense, indescribable & amazing all wrapped in one, took lots of photos & brought some little gifts for the girls....they are so going to love the pressies I have brought them. Did not go up to the very top as there was a four hour wait in the line & we were so not up for this
& our plane was due to fly out at 6.15pm. After seeing the Eiffel Tower, we walked back to catch the Metro Train to the Opera, where we were going to have coffee. Got back & sat in a corner coffee shop for a couple of hours......soaked up the atmosphere, people watched & wrote in my journal...this is what Paris is all about. Walked slowly back to our hotel for the last time, got our bags & caught a taxi to the airport. By this stage Becc & I were shattered, very tired & extremely exhausted......a very big couple of days, needed to get back to Aberdeen. Got to the airport & another delay in our flight home, this is not what we wanted to hear.........Arrived home around 10.30pm, Jase met us at the door & just laughed at the slight of the two of us....went to bed so needed to get some rest after the three days we have had in the best city in the World.......Paris Amazing..........xx

Michelle and Becc - you are officially party beasts! And you have represented the Barossa very well indeed!! How did you do it??? Just the sheer excitement and adrenalin I bet! It is amazing sitting here on a quiet Sunday morning reading your incredible experiences and wow - great photos - fantastic to see Paris/Ireland pics! Get some rest girl!
