Today was absolutely wretched. At dinner I chose the topic of stem cell research. Why did I do that?! Why??! Have you ever tried explaining what a stem-cell is in another language? Tell me, what's the word for 'stem'? And when your host family thought you were talking about cloning, how did you differentiate the two?? What's embryo in any foreign language? Did you know that off the top of your head?? Yeah fucking right. You just looked that up.
