Tag 150 - Keine Langeweile in Vejle Diesen Samstag waren sowohl Ellen als auch Kurt nicht zuhause. Sie hatten mir jedoch angeboten, ihr Auto zu leihen, und beispielsweise nach Aarhus zu fahren – die Stadt war nämlich zur Kulturhauptstadt 2017 gekürt worden. Ich hatte mich aber entschieden, lieber nach Vejle zu fahren; da war ich nämlich noch nie gewesen und wollte dort schon immer mal hin. Nachdem die Pferde versorgt waren, machte ich mich gegen zehn auf den Weg. Ich spannte mein Handy in die Halterung und nutzte es wie Ellen als Navi. So kam ich ohne Probleme (abgesehen davon, dass das Navi die Straßennamen so absurd falsch aussprach, dass ich mehr als einmal ziemlich irritiert war) eine Dreiviertelstunde später an und parkte auf einem Parkplatz in der Nähe des Bahnhofs. Today was not spent in the typical Danish way. Our family friends we are staying with decided to take us out to their local lion park, as you do in Scandinavia! So we had a lovely day in the Sun with african animals. Tomorrow morning we head off to Northen Jutland, Frederikshaven, where we will catch the ferry to Goteborg in Sweden to stay with an old friend of mine. Will be sad to leave here as we have been so well looked after. However, we are fed and our clothes are washed, so off we go to the next place to stay!
