Today Tuesday we visited the old city of Dubrovnik and walked the city walls. That means we can eat tonight a horse and half a cow and still lose weight. Ha Ha if this only would work that way. But, it took a good two hours-stairs up-slippery stairs down. The steps look like ice from the many footsteps the old floor has taken. All 1940 meters long. But what views of the old city. Development started well over thousand years ago. It was so good, we decided to walk the surrounding walls because it allows a good view of major buildings ets. which get a bit lost if you walk inside the city with the thousands of visitors. So we suppose the photos will tell the story at his best. It will take a day to really enjoy what there is to see. There are many museums but most are crowded so you have to wait and not so good, have to pay for every one you want to visit. Very tired but satisfied we boarded a packed bus to Lapad where we have our stay for the week. As we told you before, absolutely starving we found a nice place for a cold beer and a good meal to finish the day. Bye for now liz & Allan
