Hydrofoil sailing

On a mooring buoy in Vis enjoying a cocktail we were entertained by a solo sailor on what looked like an international canoe with wings and it came out of the water on a hydrofoil. Fast! We have had a couple of excellent sailing days, 20 to 25 knots, hot 29C, and sunny. Vis and Kut are located in a beautiful bay with a long water front and good market and restaurant. Many of the towns have installed mooring buoys which they charge for at various rates which have no apparent relationship to the facilities the provide.
