After leaving Dubrovnik, we made the five hour bus trip north up to Split where we would spend our last four days before we headed back to the realities of life. Our first task was obviously to find our accomodation for the days ahead. It was our last full day in Croatia

the sun was shining - so we headed off to the island of Brac to get some sun and go swimming. Picture as we left the Split harbour

What can I say

Croatia put on an amazing last day for us

Looking back over the mountainous coastline of the mainland

After a good nap in the sun, Ange decided it was time for a dip

I really had no desire to leave Croatia and head back to London

Where's the meat??????
Adam, U promised me pics of you chowing down on some sort of large animal being cooked on a spit by the roadside. I feel a little let down. Benizzle.

I know!!!
I was dissapointed too - we had seen it so many places in our first few days there, that I was positive I would come across the Spits again - but it was not too be. Given further south is more touristy - they weren't running them. And the one I did take a pic of wasn't fully cooked yet. Devistated!!!
