Well it was amazing.. Bosnia and Herzegovina is one of the countries you say to yourself "why would I go there??" At least that's what I thought before hand. But when I arrived there I soon changed my mind. The Country is very lush and filled with mountains and rolling hills ( though you cant go hiking without a guide for fear of Landmines). Then you go to Sarajevo the Capitol, which the only thing I had ever heard about it was on CNN and it wasn't too pretty. But you walk around and its a very quaint city with the nicest people. The Pigeon Lady
This was taken in what is called Pigeon Square by tourist.. If you look close you can see they are even on her head.. buildings and even bullet holes on the sides of the churches. I gives you a very weird felling looking at as you walk dow the street. While I was in Mostar I went on a tour of the area and visited all sorts of interesting sights. We went to a Monastery on the edge of a cliff on a river (see picture) then to an Apparition sight of the Virgin Marty and on to a Ottoman Fortress. There is lots of history in Bosnia and Herzegovina and I only scratched the surface. Well next time I guess..
