Our 1st Stop - Belgium

Hi everyone,

We arrived safely in Geraardsbergen (west of Brussels) (Campsite is called Camping de Gavers). We found it no problem but then we had to find the camp site !! An hour and a half later and after driving up and down the same roads we found our very badly signed camp site. There were only two signs from the main road and they were facing the same way that we were going so didn't see any of them.

As it was bank holiday monday it was quite busy when we arrived, later that day there were only two other campers..........lovely!!!

The camp site is lovely its got a huge lake, swimming pool, with jacquzzi's and mini rapids. Thought we'd start the holiday with a run round the lake, not realising its about 4km and it was really hot. Every time we ran round a corner there was another bit to run round.

It was chilly in the mornings and evenings (actually it was freezing cold) but it was lovely the rest of the time. Only around 22 degrees though!!!

We left there on thursday heading for Holland
