Brussels - Belgian
We drove in to Brussels and it was very busy everyone seemed to have a motorcade to get them around. We saw the grand Place the only building to have survived the booming by the French in 1847 ironic considering it was the target. Belgium is so well known for its battle history maybe that is why they are the centre of the EU they now want to be known for peace.
We saw a statue of King Leopold II who personal acquired the Congo in Africa an area about 100 times the size of Belgian and then took heaps off rubber from it and killed lots of the locals up until 1908.
