Volcan Arenal, Costa RicaVolcan Arenal, Costa RicaVolcan Arenal, Costa Rica

First day of the season the clouds cleared and the volcano showed- you could feel it rumbling!
Though I'm only now starting this travel blog for my coming travels, I wanted to include a few places from my last adventures in Central America. I spent a total of just under 6 months travelling thru Costa Rica, up to Guatemala, down thru Honduras, into Nicaragua, and finally into Panama. I was fortunate to visit many beautiful rainforests, climbed active volcanos, swam in dormant ones, lived for a month in my favorite city so far, Antigua, the Copan Ruinas, scuba dived in Roatan, Honduras and in Bocas Del Torro in Panama. Wow! What a time! I travelled around to 6 different Spanish schools, immersion is the way to go. There was fabulous salsa, cumbias, and punta dancing almost every night in just about every town! Good Times, Good Times...
