Lenin and I go to the creek to keep from being bored in the house. We hike north through forests of coffee and bananas to get to the waterfall. The dark green bushes to the right are coffee plants.

The whole creek was full of pollywogs and I was busy trying to catch them. Meanwhile, Lenin was busy overturning rocks. I supposed he was looking for crawdads. But oh, was I wrong! Apparently there are fresh water crabs in the creeks of Nicaragua!

He wanted to take it home to give it to Mamita to cook. I convinced him, though, to let it go as one crab would barely be a mouthful.

The above ground garden that Lenin and I created for Mamita. The green beans are doing great!

We planted both white icicle radishes and red radishes.

The bulbs from the Cahails are doing a lot better than the seeds... but the onion seeds are growing, too!
