Hello
We're back in Guatemala, after popping to Belize and Honduras ... we love Guatemala, it's by far the most beautiful country we've ever been to (& so spending a bit too much time here!).
Hoping to get plenty of photos up - so quick summary ....
Sarita's happy she's had her beach fix
Adam's happy he's seen caves, bats, fish, lizards and crocodiles
Spanish is still moy terreeeble
Charades and facial expressions are coming on a treat

Kayak-Man
Adam does some kayaking on the Rio Dulce in Guatamala, while Sarita sits at the back and keeps an eye out for crocodiles

Semuc Champey
The gorgeous Semuc Champey, Guatemala - defintley the most beautiful place we've ever seen (waterfalls, turquoise lagoons, moy bien)

More Semuc Champey ...
Adam has a swim in the waterfalls (which was nice, after a traumatic time in the caves that morning, when Sarita nearly drowned ... dark caves, strong currents, trying to swim with a candle ...never again!)

Bus rides
Plenty of bus rides being done out here ... but no complaints, as this is what the view is often like

Jealousy and knitting
Hey you two! I finally got around to having a look at your blog- It looks like you're having a great time. Sarita, I'm most impressed to see that you've been seeking out your yarn retailers already- Shall you be pulling together a Peruvian poncho before you return? Just about to e-mail the others about dates for the Oct knitting club- will perhaps have to get David to throw together some Guatemalan stew for the girls... oh, and dessert will have to be Sarita ice-cream... Wish We Were There
man, that just looks like bliss. No wonder you love it so much there. Thankyou for the birthday card too, so nice that you thought of us here. Jake is going gang busters and growing and learning more and more every day. Cant wait for you to meet him and give him cuddles and do a llama inpersonation for him.
