This is Spice Island Marine Services, where Paper Moon was haul out for 4 months. In order to be able to store more boats, they use this trailer like things. It is very unnerving watching your boat being transfered from the stands to the trailer, and then the slings to put in water.

Upon Pete's retirement in 2005, decision was made to go South on the boat. We will take it one day at a time. One island at a time. See how far we get. Unfortunately it was late in the season, so we took of on the land boat instead for 6 months. In 2006, we made our 1st crossing across the Florida straights towards the unknown, new cultures, islands, countries, foods, vegetation, etc. We hope you enjoy reading our adventures and looking at our pictures.... full info
