so...our house internet no ha sido funciando (has not been working) so i wasnt able to write or put pictures up but we are all ready to go now.so oh geez like three weekends ago i went to manuel antonio a national park. the beaches were beautiful and we went a nature hike and saw all kinds of animals. from like 1 inch bats to 1 foot bats, birds, and of course monkeys!i witnessed the white faced ones steal a guys backpack...they are such criminals.but they slowly dropped down his camera and shoes and sunblock...they only want food.it was really pretty but i dont think id go back.there were tourists everywhere and i think people spoke more english than spanish. and it didnt help that i got super sick off dinner saturday night and went to bed at like 8 cause i just wanted to throw up.but oh well it was alright. i moved up a spanish class in feb so that has been taking up a lot of my time.last weekend i stayed in san jose and hung out with my family here. we ran errands and cooked for a family get together that was last sunday. it was a

rosario ceremony which was a little weird as im not catholic but it was cool to learn about it.and i learned all about the meaning of a rosario and customs and it was cool. last week i was really busy becuase i had to give a at the minimum 30 minute presentation in spanish about religion in latin america (so obviously the rosary ceremony helped me out with that. and wednesday i went to the costa rica vs honduras soccer game even tho i had to give my presentation the next morning and was far from done but i couldnt miss this...especially since i got the ticket for free!it was so cool and im so glad i went. soccer fans are crazy and the honduran fans were covered in soda and popcorn from it being thrown at them.we sat next to some ticos and they taught us all the cheers. and we won 2-0!!!!yay team!!this weekend i was supposed to go to jaco but it kinda fell through so i went out in san jose saturday night and then today i walked downtown to the market to practice some spanish.ive got a bunch of pics tho cause im too lazy
