What happened in november 2007 ?

Hi everybody,

This month we had a meeting from the Holland Hotels Costa Rica. It was in the Guayabolodge close to the Turrialba volcano. Very nice place and a great view, when it’s clear you can see the cerro the la muerte which is the highest mountain in this country as well as the Chirripo, the highest volcano.
We drove with our friend Peter and got lost in San Jose, we saw signs of Cuba, Haiti, Mexico....but finally we made it. And then we had to drive for more than 3 hours to get home. Fortunately we found some friends who looked after the business and all the animals.

Then one day, there was NO water. Kees went for a bike ride with a friend in the morning, they were very sweaty when they came back and were desperate to take a shower ! no way, still no water. In the afternoon we were expecting guests who came by bus. So we used a lot of deodorant and perfume to hide our smelly bodies haha. Willeke had a big pile of laundry to do, it was the most beautiful weather and NO water !! grrr...not funny.
Finally around 4 in the afternoon we had water again, we all tried to be the first one to take a shower....felt good !

We also had two guys (around 25 years old) who wanted to stay in the house instead of a cabina. Fine ! we showed them around to all the national parks in this area, more then we thought ! man are we tired.....we also had a lot of fun with them so that was nice.
Also we ended up in a Swiss hotel on the other side of the lake, for lunch. Right ! typical swiss food, which we are familiar with in the Netherlands so that was a treat. Except for the music, we went nuts....yodel music ? ever heard it ? well we found out that the people who work there went nuts to, they asked us THREE times if we ordered french fries or roesti ???

Anyway, we are fine, business is picking up again as well as massages and we are still very happy to be here in this special place.
