Kees en Willeke Afgelopen maand een nachtwandeling gemaakt, was erg leuk om met een zaklamp op je hoofd door het bos te banjeren. En nog leuker om dieren te zien....
Kees is jarig geweest, maar vergeten fotos te maken helaas....
Wel foto's gemaakt van een mooie zonsopgang. Wil had Kees op de bus van 05.00 gezet naar San Jose. Is wel errug vroeg hoor. Kees had nl een vergadering in Jaco, helemaal in het zuiden van het land en een aardig stukje reizen. Maar goed, eenmaal terug de zon op zien komen en een paar mooie plaatjes geschoten.
De rest van de foto's spreekt wel weer voor zich....

Last month we finally went for a nightwalk. That was fun, walking in the dark with a light on your head, and even more fun to look at some animals......
It was Kees his birthday to, forgot to take pictures...sorry...
But we do have some nice photo's from a sunrise. Wil took Kees to Tilaran in order to get on the 05.00 bus to San Jose. Kees had a meeting in Jaco, down south and a long travel.
Anyway, while back saw the sunrise and took some nice pictures.

We sold everything in the Netherlands in may 2005 and are living since then in beautiful Costa Rica where we run a B&B and Cabina's. The cat Flekkie also came with us, she is already 16 years old. And now we have two parrots and a dog called Lucky. The little town of Tronadora where we live is nice and quiet and located at lake Arenal. From our house we have a spectacular view at the lake and the Arenal volcano as well. At night we can see the lava come down from the volcano, that is fantastic to watch.... full info

Gordeldier/Armadillo
Dit diertje zagen we s'nachts tussen de bladeren schuifelen. Hij heeft hier zijn snuit verstopt. Ze maken ook een knorrend geluid, beetje als een varken. .............................................................................. We saw one of these during our nightwalk. His head is hidden under the rocks, they also sound like a pig.
Wandelende tak/Walking stick
Er zit er altijd wel eentje rond het huis, op de vensterbank of tussen de meubels....dit is nog een jonkie. .............................................................................. There is always one of them around the house, on the window sill or between furniture, this is a young one.
Ontbijt/Breakfast
Op deze manier krijgen de gasten hun ontbijt gepresenteerd. Krijgen jullie al trek in het lekkere fruit, cornflakes, scrambled eggs en toast ? De dienbladen zijn natuuuuuuurlijk allevier in de juiste cabina kleur geverfd... .............................................................................. This is how our guests get their breakfast, all the tray's are in the right cabina colours. Hungry yet ?
Lucky
Ons hondje in de "rust stand", zo is ze wel lief he ? ja ja .............................................................................. Our dog having a time-out. She's cute like this huh ? well...
Nieuwste meubel van Kees/Latest furniture made by Kees
Vrienden vroegen om een tafel gemaakt van resthout. En dit is wat Kees dan maakt, veel te mooi! maar het zijn echt restanten..... .............................................................................. Some friends asked for a tabe from scrap wood. This is what Kees made, to beautiful !
Quad bikes
Toch een leuk gezicht die Quads voor de deur, helaas bleven ze niet staan... .............................................................................. Would have been nice if they left the quads at our front door......
Koninginnedag/Queens Day
Koninginnedag gevierd bij ons op de veranda. Was gezellig hoor ! .............................................................................. We celebrated the Dutch Queen's birthday, so we decorated in orange...

Nou ik denk dat Jan des Bouvrie in Hollandia concurrentie heeft hoor, mooie tafel :) super, jammer dat ik het nu pas zie anders had Gerard wat hout mee kunnen nemen in het vliegtuig :) Knuffie www.trueblancospirit.com ps oranje blijft oranje he lalalalalala

Restjes hout...
Vanaf nu dus helemaal alle restjes hout bewaren en verzamelen! Zo'n tafel moet je beslist opnemen in de catalogus (die er ongetwijfeld ooit komt...). Chapeau! Als we zouden weten waar we een dergelijke tafel neer zouden kunnen zetten, dan plaatsten we meteen een bestelling. Wie weet in de toekomst?!? Abrazo fuerte, Ruud, Odette en Scuby
