Dear all, The newest Open Water Diver in the world is Jack!! He qualified this morning after his last two dives. The first dive was a bit stressful as the water was very rough and their were loads of divers in the water. The second dive was very relaxing and he didnt want to leave the water. Jack has the diving bug!!!! Not bad for someone who is scared of fish!! Dear all, Not much to report. Been doing more diving. Jack ( for those of you that dont know him...friend from work) arrived on the island yesterday. Having done some snorkelling on another island he has decided that he wants to learn to dive. So we started teaching him today!! Dear all, Went diving the day before yesterday. The water here is 30 degrees, so no need to wear a wet suit. Yesterday I chose not to go diving as I was told that the water was going to be very choppy...but Dan went as he doesn't get sea sick. Cant believe that I didnt go...as he saw the biggest fish in the ocean....the Whale shark!! I have been searching for one for over six years...and I missed it. It was about 8 metres long!! Last night we went clubbing on the beach and didnt get back to our room until about five this morning...so I am writing this with a bit of a hangover!! No drinking tonight for me!! Dear all, I have arrived safely in Thailand. The flight was lovely and I got to fly on the biggest plane in the world...the A380. I am now in Bangkok waiting to get the night train down south. Right, so I havent used anything like this before..so bare with me. Not actually left the Uk yet, not even sorted my Visas yet, but sorting out a travel blog has to be top priority! Leaving the UK on the 28th July and am going to be travelling with My husband Dan for one year. Will also be meeting up with various friends along the way. Anyway at the moment the itinery looks like this: Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, Manado, Bali, Philippines, Micronesia, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, LA, Mexico, Honduras, Belize and possibly Guatamala.
