Dear all, Today we moved down the coast slightly to a new beach called Hat Son. Its very quiet here. Our new room is huge, and has a hot shower...which keeps me happy! Once we had moved, we spent the rest of the day relaxing. The sun was not out today but it was still 38 degrees!! So we stayed in our room with the Air Con on and watched Dvds. Tonight we are going on a mission. The nearest cash machine is a half hour walk up some very steep hills. It was far too hot to make the journey earlier, so we are going when the sun has gone down. Dear all, Yesterday I decided that my ear was fine and so it was time to get back in the water! We set off at 7.30am and headed out to Chumporn Pinnacle. The sea was very choppy and we had not gone far when people started being sick over the side!! Thankfully I was not one of them! We got to the divesite and went in. I was helping out on a deep speciality course and so we went down to 40 metres. The visability was very good and it was a lovely dive..although getting out at the end was quite scary due to the massive waves! Dear all, Today my ear was feeling a bit better and so I decided to take a walk (more hike/climb) up to Fraggle Rock. Ash and I set off with plenty of water as we knew that its a pretty steep climb and it was about 40 degrees! After walking up very steep paths for about an hour we came to the rock which looks out over koh Tao. The views were amazing. Rather than going straight back down we decided to take the path around the rock which heads further up the mountain and into the jungle. This was amazing! There were butterflies, squirrel monkeys and many other creatures lurking that I really dont want to think about! I cant even begin to imagine how many creatures lived there. Dear all, It was Full Moon in Thailand this week..which means big celebrations. Dan and I stayed on Koh Tao but went to the beach on full moon night. It was a very lucky night as we saw two shooting stars! Dan has finished work and is having a week off before he teaches another course. When he finishes that course we are heading to the islands on the other side of Thailand. Tomorrow we are planning on going diving and I am hoping to see some big fish!! Jack has come back to Koh Tao for a few days of chilling before he heads back up to Bangkok. Our friend Mike arrives this Sunday and then we get to teach him to dive too!!
