No rooms in a city totally sucks! Only good option is overnight transport to somewhere that hopefully doesn't suck. (I've only slept on benches in strange cities during the day, wouldn't want to do it at night.)
that cousin lady whoa- first thing I noticed is that you spell apologize with an s... not horribly important, but funny to me none the less!!
You better get caught up with all those Blog entries mister.... distract yourself from the beach for a bit (I couldn't do it!). Hope you are enjoying life so far east... wish I were there too!
Merry Christmas/ Happy New Year Hey man,
Just wanted to wish you well on your travels. I hope that you are continuing your journey of exploring the world, and finding your place in it.
Be well.
Brent
I wish you would assign dates to your day numbering system. The only time I could put a date and place together was when you inserted a picture of your Thanksgiving dinner. Dates give a snapshot into your state of mind and the state of kebabs in the world.
Actually, I had heard about the fake Canadians as well, but found it hard to believe. Most really are legit, but in Seville I did run into a guy who was pretending. He had a little canadian flag on his bag and everything. We exposed him when the Canadian I was traveling with asked where he was from!
Happy Thanksgiving! Hi Andrew! Hope you had a great Thanksgiving!
San Sebastian sounds like my kind of place. Sounds beautiful! I'm still so jealous. Glad you're having a good time while we continue to slave away. :) I ran the Richmond marathon again a few weeks ago and the weather was horrible for running. 80 degrees and sunny! J. Kelleher ran it with me and we actually managed to finish it despite the weather.
We miss you!
Stephanie
canadians? you seem to have mentioned meeting a lot of canadians.. don't you think they're americans that don't want to get themselves into trouble? i think we've all heard that people do that. you should start asking what part of canada they are from and so forth to see if they slip up!
Well, if you must know, I've been sitting on various beaches in spain and portugal...My photos on flickr *see link on main page* are basically up to date.
JackNotTheOtherJack wants to know where Andrew's been the last month Have you seen this man?
Wanted for questioning: Andrew, last seen October 23 weaving the streets of Paris. Can be recognized by "Donegal" beard (aka the "chin curtain"). Likely carrying open bottle of Jenlain. Those with liver problems aproach with caution.
good luck finding the right keyboard. maybe you can buy one and keep it in your pack? good idea posting where you've been, though. do you/have you gone to Normandy to see the D-Day memorial/cemetery?
anyway, still sounds like an awesome time. can't wait to read the new entries and find out where you'll be next!! peace... jay.
Nice card play, but also nice knowing luck often rules.
I played pool against a guy who was much better than me, but his break left all balls close to the pockets, w/o sinking one.
I then ran the table, he was furious, and I never played him again. Why would I? He was alot better than me, just unlucky.
I guess it's time for an update to the profile here -- it's been a while since I've updated this!
I'm in Canada currently living with my fiancee Jen, and working as a Computer Systems Analyst. The travel bug certainly hasn't died, but it's good to have some stability. Jen and I are certainly planning to travel more in the future -- the question is just when.
Remember, I have lots more photos on flickr.
I'm also working on creating an audio guide to Angkor. Once complete, it should cover all of t... full info
