sorry what? Bosoms? Fantasies? Sorry what?
Howdoo you pair of whameads on tour? I hope you're enjoying your final week or so of India, relaxing and (as dad does not fail to stress) soaking up all of the culture! I've sent you an email EJ, twould be grand of you to reply.
I bet you're having a more exciting time than me... I'm sitting in the resources room at school doing my biology planning exercise.. it's all fun and games! Exam leave starts next Friday and first proper exam is the next monday, so It'll be revision stations when you arrive home. Might have to sit at heathrow and learn about The Aeneid.. perhaps not!
Anyway, I'm rambling quite a bit now. Only just noticed it.
Have a great week and I'll see you next saturday.
BUNDLES of love,
Boo x
Too many bosoms! I feel I am coming to this particular episode a little late - although Mum had told me about the idling boat trip.
In view of Tina's weird dreams and Ellie's breast-feeding fantasies, I thought I should register that some men-folk are reading this as well, which is all proving disconcerting over lunch.
Great to hear from you the other day and I will not wish the last few days to pass in a blurr since I would encourage you to squeeze every last drop of experience from it, even if your culture flasks are full to bursting.
Enjoy it to the last and if we get a couple more Blogg editions so much to the good - otherwise, just enjoy and we'll see you at Heathrow - I just hope we recognise you!
Love Dad
Wham'eds... ladies....the imagery si something else, I think that I could do with some of it in the dissertation... languishing by side of tranquil waters, the new mother reaches for her bosom to feed her infant...(Anyone else reading this, i am doing my dissertation on breastfeeding!).
I wll be i finished i 2 weeks, which is very scary, but as the last 4 years have flown by, i don't see why it'll slow down now!
I went on a weekend with the Honduras gilrs this weekend, so was a nice break, although back in the library now....
Great to hear from you, love the stories. cannot wait to have them from you in person.
Much love x
Beach babes-or bums??? Great to read another entry after a long spell of incommunicado! However, it looks as if we didn't get the whole message-it seemed to come to an abrupt ending-in a rickshaw with the commoners! Was there more or did you run out of steam? That aside, the idea of the two of you being treated like Indian princesses on a floating palace conjures up a pretty amazing picture. I had one of my amazing dreams last night-dad and I, together with EJs mum and dad came to visit you in India-for two days! You didn't quite look like princesses in the dream though-more like the hippies of yesteryear! I was qiute scared and relieved to wake up! Enjoy the rest of your chill-out. Time is running out. Looking forward to seeing you.

lucky ladies the day on the river sounds like paradise. what an experience. one to remember forever. and to tell the grandkids! glad you are having a lovely time. not long now to your return enjoy the freedom love to you both mum trivs
No guru??!!?? Hi girls! By the time you pick this up, you will be on a beach in Goa. It was good to get a Blog entry after what seemed like ages and a few texts since have kept us up to date! Have been trying to find the places you talk about in the 'India books'. Kerala features in the '1,000 places to see before you die' book. Fancy-no gurus for you two! So you won't be returning holier than thou I take it. On Easter break now-weather awful, it actually snowed on Saturday-you were either still on the hot, hot, hot train or checking into accommodation in Goa. who said I was jealous-never let it be said! Can't believe you're on the countdown-with just over a month to go. Keep well-keep happy. Love mum Ireland
Twister Tales EJ and Sophia
Pleased to hear from you following temporary Blog Famine, is internet access proving a challenge in some of the more rural pastures? I was reviewing the route map on previous edition and pleased to note you seem to be staying to the South of the Indian continent. Your preference for off-the-track locations may force the purchase of even larger scale map which must surely cover most of lounge floor. We are trying to follow your route through a geographic form of Twister!
Pleased to hear that Pass the Pigs continues to feature on your travels. Get some interesting PtP photos and you can apply for sponsorship on your next trip. I have looked up the Kerala houseboat charter, saw picture of a converted rice boat - so looking forward to details on that particular detour, don't lose your windlass.
Life continues as what passes for normal here, Becky is in Greece, Matt is temporarily in Chesterfield. Mum and I enjoyed a good BLT weekend, just 30 miles down the road in a cottage near to Rutland Water. No mountains but did manage a 9 mile walk around the lake on Saturday and went in search of ospreys on Sunday (no luck). Now looking forward to Easter and a few days break in Devon - Becky has already requested an egg-hunt arount the flat.
Apart from decorated elephants, have you seen much in the way of wildlife?
I'll sign off now and wish you both well. Continue to take care of yourself and each other.
Lots of love
Dad
at least you`ve missed winter. we have had frosts for the last 3 days in morning. you could record the sound of car scraping. are you on the west coast i`m a bit confused as to where this represents in the blog. can you enlighten me.beckie having fun in greece and she is well at present. thank goodness.take care luv mum
If you haven't got a guru ... then how could you know it was ok to leave the Mountain...? I'm baffled! Such temerity in the face of the unknown. Well done on the kilo-shedding!
Love and light from me - ps, nothing wrong with that loo! Once you're balanced on the stone 'plank', it's quite ok ;-))
Totally agree! Everybody I have come across at the Sri Aurobindo ashram is just like you describe. Suspicious and cliquey. Apparently, if you put your head on the tomb, you can feel it vibrate, there's so much energy in it. Said French William. But with the kind of zombie devotee they put there to guard it, I wasn't going to risk it. My no-guru is better politics. Signed: Suspicious Cliquey Lili
Cleansed body and soul! I came in from school the other night and heard dad laughing-yes he'd just picked up the yoga blog! Just about enough information to 'get the picture'! Keep them coming! james was home for his bday-showed us the email of the shi........ forecast. Hope you get all that out of your system befor you get home.
Love and hugs to you both
Mum Ireland
OH MY GOSH! I laughed SO hard reading this blog! You do get yourselves in some situations don't you!! It's a good job you're at least quite flexible, otherwise you would have fallen apart by now, by the sounds of it! Just keep farting at him and he might back off...
Lovely to hear you're having fun, despite the pain.
HOWGE love,
Boo x
Sounds amazing! Freat to get news-seems like ages since we last heard news. Sounds like you're enjoying being free of the Rotarians-but will look back fondly on those days spent in Chennai. You certainly are seeing a whole different way of life and are immersed in the culture and traditions of the country-how many more Saris are you going for? will we recognise you when you get home? We're off to Wales to see them play France on Saturday-as well as a reception in the bay and a boat trip to the stadium-slightly different to the journeys you describe. I'll give a cheer for you soph-they need all the help they can get! Off to consult the map of India now to track your travels. Take care
Lots of love, kisses and hugs

Tantalising Tales Yet more stories to whet the appetite. We are all hooked by the brief details but know there will be more to follow on your return.
The long overnight journey sounds horrendous and glad to hear you have now found a little 'breathing space' away from the big city.
Keep the blogs coming, it allows us to try to share the experience with you.
Keep safe Love Dad
Bins?! They use the bins?! What a shocker! Well, your journey sounded a little like my bus journey home today... quite cramped, squirming screechy little boys, and me trying to fall asleep. It's great to hear that you're out of Chennai and somewhere more okay to live for a little while.
I have little news, unless I haven't told you yet that my name is in the running for head girl. Which is pretty exciting, but I will not be disappointed at all if I don't get it. Err, what else? 6 months for me and Dave in a couple of weeks! Hooray! JCS dvd is going to be shown this friday, so i'll order you a copy for when you get home. Anyway, I'll leave you to frollick around Pondicherry, as that is what we all like to do, let's face it!
Big hugs and love and smiles to both of you,
Boogaloo xxx
tres bien Whameads indeed.....i have to say that the highlight of logging on to your blog today was reading a comment added by a certain Chris'my mate'Trivett. I'm interested in the freezer! I am so glad to ehar that you are still having a good time, it sounds like you are enjoying your selves without that clatter of the pots and pans at 5 am! Stress levels high here...need to action more work faster, but the fact that Peel is coming up this weekend for a drinking session will mean that I do little work and lots of boozing! I am counting down to your return. Did i tell you about the running.....I ran around the big hill in Edinbugh on sunday, there were 9 of us, to raise money for my Honduras trip...so far I have raised £1000-so going well. love to you both, L xxxx

Independent professionals! Hi Sophia and Emma, your chaperone hosts remind me of when I spent my summer in Athens at 18 yrs and my aunt insisted on coming everywhere with us-even the disco!Frustrating but quite touching too. Fancy buying in a place below your station-hope the silks will be more acceptable to everyone there. you certainly have packed alot into your trip so far-far more than anything you would do on the 'normal tourist trail'. Can't wait to see all the photos and talk to you about your experiences-your lives will never be the sanme and I'm surte your travelling feet will never stop itching! Keep the blogs coming-love them! Like Chris, I hope you are keeping a full log of everything. Take care Mum I
